Abacus188 ("the App") is a bookkeeping tool. Our principle is simple: your ledger belongs to you and stays on your device.

Ledger Data — Stored Locally

Your records (amounts, categories, accounts, notes), attachments (photos, audio recordings), and optional location tags are all stored in a local database on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. You can back up your ledger anytime via the in-app CSV export.

What We Do Receive

• Account information: the login credentials and contact details you provide at registration, used solely for sign-in and account identification, transmitted over HTTPS. You may also use the App in guest mode without an account.
• Push token: an anonymous token used to deliver reminders, only if you enable notifications.

We collect nothing else. We do not sell data, serve no third-party ads, and do not track you across apps.

System Permissions

• Camera / Photos: attach photos to records (stored locally).
• Microphone: attach audio notes to records (stored locally).
• Location: when the optional "auto-location" feature is on, tags a record with where it was made (stored locally). Off by default.
• Notifications: bookkeeping reminders.

All permissions can be declined or revoked in system settings at any time; only the related feature is affected.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the App's account settings, or contact us below; account data is removed from our servers within 30 days. Local ledger data can be deleted in the App or by removing the App.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
